United States of America Informs Their Role in Kenya's 2022 Campaigns

The United States of America has informed their role in Kenya's 2022 campaigns, issuing fresh details.

Kenya USA Ambassador Eric Kneedler has informed that on matters 2022 the United States of America does not in any way tend to interfere with the 2022 elections or influence Kenyans to vote on a certain leader.

According to Eric Kneedler, he has informed that USA does not have any preference on an individual among those contesting for the Presidency making it clear that any Presidential candidate who wins the poll may it those in One Kenya Alliance, Raila Odinga, or DP Ruto, then, they are willing to work with any leader who wins the presidency in 2022.

However, the USA has informed Kenyans on the need to make wise decisions advising that what matters most is to gauge a leader depending on his or her leadership acumen.

“Whatever the outcome of next year’s General Election, America is ready to continue to engage and work with the winner,’’ he said.

“That is the prerogative of the voters. It is up to them to gauge and or evaluate the candidates based on their leadership acumen and vote,” Kneedler told journalists in Kisumu.

Kneedler has too said that they will ensure that the 2022 elections are delivered on a credible platform but will not influence the vote.

“We know that Kenyans are capable of making informed and independent decisions. For us, we will ensure that there is electoral credibility,” he said, noting that the US will not influence the vote.
