The battle for Kiambaa by-election is coming to an end today with counting of votes are ongoing. It is anticipated that as from 10pm results will be expected to start trickling. The strongest battle was between Jubilee Party candidate Kariri Njama and UDA candidates Njuguna wa Wanjiku. The outcome of the election will have a serious influence in a party that will take the day as well as the losing one.
If Hustler Movement candidate wins then the hustlers team will be confident with their leader DP William Ruto and this will boost their morale as general election approaches. UDA digital strategist Dennis Itumbi had alot of confident with the people and expected to be happy after the results. It should be remembered that he claimed that yellow is the colour of happiness.
On other hand Jubilee Party under leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta expects to win the seat in order to restore their lost glory after a series of defeats. Its in public domain that when they lost to UDA in Juja and the president was very mad and rumours were that Murathe had resigned.
If Jubilee Party will lose in Kiambaa then the top leadership in the party will have betrayed the president and the best thing they can do is to resign or declare their support to Ruto as they are not helping the head of state despite trusting them with the top leadership in the party.
