Joshua Arap Sang was one of the suspects of the international criminal Court. While at the Court, Sang had been charged with crimes against humanity alongside William Ruto, President Kenyatta and several others. The radio presenter had been accused of using his show that used to be aired in Kass FM to duwl the post election violence.
In 2016, while talking to the standard, the radio presenter did say that he had to quit his role on the radio after the trips to the Hague became more frequent. It became very difficult to balance the court case and the radio job. He also knew that most of his colleagues would be very uncomfortable with him and so he has to resign from his job. His show had made him very popular and before the post election violence, she was definitely doing well and doing fine.
It was his popular show that led to him being summoned to the Hague as a person of interest in the Hague over the Post election violence. The trial was opened on the September of 2013 and due to insufficient evidence, he was acquitted in 2016. It had actually been 7 years of being away from radio and after even being acquitted of all the charges, Sang has been away from the public and seems to be doing everything in private.
Even after the Hague and all that he went through while at the Hague. Sang seems to be back at his feet again and doing fine and even better.
In 2017, Sang who was a close friend of the deputy president tried his luck in politics but it never went wanted to vie for the senatorial position of of Uasin Gishu.
After politics he went back to radio and joined media max limited in 2019 and was even promoted to the position of deputy head in the radio division. He was working as the head of Emoo radio which is a kalenjin radio that is under media max.
It is only in radio that Joshua Arap Sang seems to find his true bearing in life and his does his job in the best way possible. Even though he is constantly not seen in the public, he is doing very well in the media. The private kind of life seems to give him even more peace.
