Azimio MP States What They Will Do If Speaker Wetangula Rules KK As The Majority In Parliament

Azimio- One Kenya legislator on Wiper party has reveals coalitions next move should National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula rule that Kenya Kwanza is the majority in the parliament.


Talking at Parliament building this afternoon, Member of Parliament Kitui Central, Makali Mulu insisted that Azimio One Kenya coalition enjoys the majority in National Assembly. He says the coalition is guided by letter from party of registrar, indicating that the coalitions is the majority in parliament and not Kenya Kwanza.

He therefore says, if Speaker Moses Wetangula will rule in favour of President William Ruto led Kenya Kwanza camp then, as coalitions they will proceed to Court to challenge the decision.


"Hii si mambo ya kufikiria, ni mambo na standing orders. Barua ya registrar ilisema Azimio wana wabunge wengi, iwapo mambo yataenda kadri na matarajio ya watu basi kuna uwezekano wa kuenda kortini." He said.


Speaker Moses Wetangula is expected to settle the matter once and fall in today's sitting with both camps chest thumping to enjoy majority in parliament.


Azimio One Kenya coalition had settled on parliament leadership where Ugunja Member of Parliament Opiyo Wandayi as leader of majority while Kenya Kwanza picked Kimani Ichungwah as the coalition majority leader.
