The President of Malawi flew into the country less than 96 hours ago and acted as the Chief Guest during the Madaraka Day celebration in Kirinyaga County.
According to a Twitter feed shared by blogger Disembe Dikembe, the State House's Communication Authorities failed to invite Uhuru's principal assistant to the meeting.
However, that was not the first time that the DP was excluded from the State's diplomatic functions.
His Communication Authorities claimed that they were left out of the crucial events an allegation that was letter dismissed by a memo from the Office of the President that sought Ruto's presence during the assembly.
Earlier during the Madaraka Day Celebrations, the President and his Deputy happily greeted each other implying that they were in good terms.
However, this allegations indicates that the gap between the President and his Deputy keeps widening as the 2022 electioneering period approaches.
The assembly was characterized by the renewal of the diplomatic ties between the two nations.
