Retired CJ David Kenani Maraga Makes His Political Comeback Courtesy Of President Ruto's Good Will

"He is back! The retired Chief Justice, David Maraga made his political comeback after he hang up his boots from public office in January 2021. He was among the 22 members appointed by President Ruto, to bring reform to both the national police and prison service unit. This is what he had to say..."

"The task ahead of us is a critical one that needs all our effort. As a team, we look forward to engaging the leadership of both the national police service and the prison's unit; which form the core focus of our assignment."

"Maraga is remembered as the man who overturned the 2017 presidential election results, something that had "NEVER" been done before. Now that he will be chairing the team tasked with the mandate to bring back sanity to the police service unit, a lot is expected of the man of steel (Maraga).

He will also act as the eyes and ears of President Ruto in matters to do with prison affairs. Do you think it was a good idea to bring back Maraga? This has been Opera News. Happy new year."
