The online poll shows the most preferred First Lady likely to win the Statehouse race ahead of the August presidential contest.
Rachel Ruto and Ida Odinga are the first ladies to Deputy President William Ruto and former prime minister Raila Odinga respectively. However, both sides endeavor to triumph over the upcoming contest as they aim to form the next administration.
Rachel Ruto's presidential candidate William Ruto aims at the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) under the Kenya Kwanza Alliance umbrella. On the other hand, Ida Odinga's presidential candidate Raila Odinga strives at the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) under the Azimio la Umoja Coalition.
Consequently, both continue to consolidate their ambitions to win the election.

The results give Rachel Ruto a win with 71 percent followed by Ida Odinga with 29 percent.
