Who is Justina Wamae? Amazing facts about Professor Wajackoyah's presidential running mate

Justina Wangui Wamae terms herself as the Maverick, emotionally intelligent, pragmatic with a generous spirit. She is a mother, wife, and scholar. Justina is a 35-year-old businesswoman who has been in the construction industry. Senior Manager in a construction company based at Utawala in Nairobi county. She is used to the slang name " Ndorologist" due to her excavation work and supplying construction/ building materials. She is married to Alex Kanyi having together a three-year-old daughter.

Justina has been in politics since 2017 when she unsuccessfully vied for Mavoko's Member of Parliament seat as an independent candidate after being denied Jubilee direct ticket.

She said she saw Professor George Wajackoyah for the first time on social media, her husband is the one who showed him. It's not easy, the battle for settling for a running mate for a presidential candidate. However, according to the Root's Party running mate, it was not a tough battle as the Root's Party does its thing in a different right way.

Just like any other job, Root's Party did an advert for a running mate position, as for Wamae she discussed with her husband, sent the application and her CV and she was called for a panel interview alongside other 8 applicants.

It is the plight of Kenyan Citizens that pushed and inspired her to join politics. Professor Wajackoyah's vision and a manifesto for instance the idea to legalize Marijuana to spur the country's economy and pay off debts was good, fresh, and timely hence inspiring her to apply for the position. She says she is coming to support the vision of the Root's Party. According to her, wearing the scarf is for consistency and memories. She likes reading books, watching movies, and meeting new people.
