The Raila-led Azimio La Umoja coalition has snubbed the fierce Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon Babu Owino in key committee leadership in the camp, eliciting mixed reactions online.

The leader who has since eyed to take over the chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) was nowhere in the newly proposed list showing the distribution of leadership roles in the coalition. In that was released today, 31st October, Hon John Mbadi was nominated to take the PAC position and will be deputized by Tindi Mwale (Butere MP).
Babu Owino, supported by Senator Ledama Ole Kina had accused the Azimio Coalition of sidelining key loyalists who had stood by Raila Odinga during the campaign period. His dreams of leading the aforementioned position are seemingly shunning away as the newly listed leaders are likely to lead Minority Committees at the National Assembly.
Among other popular leaders who have appeared on the list is Hon Caleb Amisi, Hon Lesuuda and others.
