It is with no doubt that the forthcoming August presidential contest is a two-horse race pitting Deputy President William Samoei Ruto of Kenya Kwańza Alliance against Raila Amolo Odinga of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance.

As the duo continue to hasten nationwide campaigns while selling their respective bids, they are equally receiving political players who are shifting camps day and night.
After losing the UDA party primaries for Kilimani Ward in Nairobi County,Hon Kiigen K. Koech who was a staunch member of UDA and Ruto's key lieutenant in Nairobi started blowing hot and cold while blaming Ruto-led party for shortchanging him during the party primaries.

Koech has since shifted camp by officially joining Azimio camp led by Raila Amolo Odinga. He has promised to escalate door to door campaign gor Raila's presidential bid.

Koech has also thrown his weight behind ODM Party candidate for Kilimani Ward,Robert Alai after this sudden U-turn by him.

He has now turned out and conspicuously emerged as one of the critics of DP Ruto and UDA party in extension.
