The ruling Jubilee party has now alleged that there was manipulation of votes in 33 mount Kenya constituencies.
According to reports, the Jubilee party issued a statement on Thursday, August 11th, the statement was confirmed by the party's secretary general Jeremiah Kiani.
The party said that the voter turnout in the KIEMS kit did not tally with the number of used ballot papers counterfeit. It was also noted that there was a lack of clarity on where KIEM kits failed.
The party added that it was not the fact that the UDA party painted yellow on the mount Kenya region. Jeremiah maintained that Jubilee is still strong and they believe that the mount Kenya region was shared equally with the UDA party.
This is after the tally showed UDA sweeping out the Jubilee party in the entire mount Kenya region. Many of the county and senate members who won are from the UDA party.
