Former Kiambu county governor, hounerable William Kabogo has warmed Ruto against claiming to be Mount Kenya Kingpin. While speaking today on a local television, Kabogo has claimed that, it is wrong for some people like Ruto to make such statements ahead of 2022 election. He has continued by saying that, instead of saying so, the second in Command should focus on engaging with leaders from Mount Kenya, pleading for their support, while laying down his strategies that will benefit the region.
Kabogo has maintained that he will be on the ballot come 2022 and nothing will Stop him from doing that. However, he has congratulated Moses Kuria for supporting Martha Karua for the second in command position. He claimed that the region has people with capacity to lead and bring change that is required.
"Kuja polepole bwana...Why should any presidential aspirant come through you [DP Ruto] first before speaking to Mt Kenya region?"- William Kabogo
