
In the previous election, Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua was elected as the second in command with president William Samoei Ruto under the UDA party. The DP is generally regarded as an honest man who always tells the truth without regard to the consequences.
In an interview he gave a few hours ago, he discussed the Kenya Kwanza government's efforts to ensure that the cost of living will decline before the end of April. He claimed that since they discovered an empty government account and had to start from scratch, they were unable to make the changes Kenyans had been promised throughout the campaign.
He went ahead and said as a person he is doing his best to a point he has turned to be a a man of prayers in this government. He also talked about his disagreement with Johnson Sakaja who is the Nairobi governor saying people should not fear him and rather they should concentrate on their jobs. He said Sakaja is a governor and he is the deputy president and he must protect business people no matter what.
