Karua Makes It Clear She's Eager To Move To Ruto's Karen Residence, Calls On Teachers' Support

As she held a meeting with teachers across the country at Ruaka, Kiambu County in the morning of today on July 6th 2022, the Azimio-OKA coalition Presidential running mate Martha Karua made it clear that she's eying the official residence of a Deputy President in Karen that's currently being occupied by DP William Ruto.

A passionately speaking Karua who was calling on teachers to support the Azimio-OKA coalition couldn't hide the fact that she's eager to be the next Deputy President of this country, a tittle that will give her an opportunity to "work from home", at Karen.

She had started by highlighting Azimio's agenda for Kenyans and how everyone stands to benefit from the Raila administration should it come into power, when she expressed her desire to move to Karen and serve Kenyans from there, with ease and in proper utilization of that public premise.

"I hope that the next discussion that I'll sit with you, you will be have given me that residence cum office at Karen so that we may hold the discussion not in a hotel but in your premises.

That is a public office. It is a public premises for public agenda especially transformative agenda and I'm looking forward to having a meeting with you there," she said.

Before leaving the meeting, she revealed that she was supposed to join Raila Odinga for a series of rallies in Kiambu County but would run to Kirinyaga for a brief engagement before rejoining him later in the day.

"Although I'm supposed to join my principal in Kiambu today, I'll be heading to Kirinyaga first but with a permission.

It'll be a brief moment where I'll be opening a meeting of AIPCA church's women which is having three thousand women. I'll therefore open the same then come back to Kiambu," she had said.
