Through a message on Monday afternoon, she has has noted that the Head of State is welcome to Kirinyaga county during upcoming Mashujaa Day Celebrations.
Purity Ngirici is among the leaders who have been very opposed to President Uhuru Kenyatta's recent cooperation with the Orange Democratic Movement ODM party leader Raila Amollo Odinga.
However, from the recent happenings where Ngirici has been cooperating with the Principal Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government programs PS Karanja Kibicho, things seem to have changed.
"I know Ngirici you called me many names but I have forgiven you. I had many ways of harassing you but I chose peace for our motherland," the PS said in the meeting.
Karanja Kibicho has been organising the Mashujaa Day Celebrations together with the Kirinyaga county governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru and also Purity Ngirici's husband General Andrew Peter Ngirici.
