
Former Machakos Gubernatorial candidate Nzioka Waita has announced his departure from politics in 2023.Nzioka in his remarks claimed that he was going focus on improving his life.
He also vowed to take part in improving the country's economy.
"As the New Year beckons, I will be taking a break from politics to focus on my personal and professional growth. I will continue to contribute to our nation’s development & well being as a private citizen. I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Prosperous & Blessed 2023" Said Nzioka Waita.

He thanked his supporters for having stood with him despite of all the Criticizes he received from opponents. He urged them to continue putting God first.
"You ignored the insults,the juvenile propaganda and voted for me in-spite of the fact that I didn’t speak fluent Kikamba.For this I am eternally grateful.We did well, we hammered seasoned politicians at the ballot & put the fear of God in the old order by putting the people first." Said Waita Nzioka.
