Just In: Ruto, Gachagua and Cabinet Secretaries to Forego One Month Salary to Fight Hunger

President William Ruto today held a closed door meeting with his cabinet secretaries where they discussed on several matters affecting the country.

According to the Standard digital, President William Ruto, his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Attorney general Muturi and Cabinet Secretaries have accepted to forego aa one month salary which will be channeled into hunger relief kitty.

" Cabinet Members including President William Ruto, Deputy Rigathi Gachagua, AG Muturi and Cabinet Secretaries to forego one month salary which channeled to hunger relief kitty", the statement reads.

This decision comes off just few days after Ruto's government launched a pay bill urging kenyans to make contributions which will help them help those kenyans in hunger striken regions.

Ideally,this is a better move because leaders are always there serve as an example upon which able kenyans will now follow the course.

The government via agriculture CS Mithika Linturi has as well revealed that importation of maize will happen next year February unlike Moses Kuria's earlier remarks.

Meanwhile,let's wait and see what happens next urging kenyans cooperate with leaders in an attempt to eradicate hunger and drought.
