As quoted by the Star, Aden who was speaking during a campaign rally at Blich, Saka and Sankuri in Garissa County said that the residents have hope in Ruto, and they will confidently and overwhelmingly vote for him come August.
Aden who is seeking the Balambala MP's slot on a UDA ticket after losing the seat which he held before 2017, said they have listened and looked at all presidential candidates, and it is only Ruto who has good plans to change the region.
He added that the UDA party leader has in different times demonstrated that he means well for the North Eastern Region, and that he is better placed to revive the economy of the county, adding that the residents have confidence in Ruto's bottom-up economic model.
“The people of Northern Kenya Region will vote for Dr Ruto on August 9 InshaAllah. DP Ruto has committed to implementing different project once he assumes office, unlike others who are issuing empty promises," said Aden.
Asking the residents to re-elect him in August, Aden said that he is keen to complete the projects that stalled within the last five years in his constituency.
