"Mt Kenya region is very angry with Uhuru Kenyatta. The region did not permit him to enter into a handshake deal with Raila Odinga. Therefore, I have no regrets about ditching him for Deputy President William Samoei Ruto." Hon Gathoni Wa Wamuchomba stated about her stand.
She further said, despite being a loyal supporter of Jubilee, she was being sidelined in many issues.
