While addressing Nandi Hills residents,Murkomen was forced to stop Rigathi Gachagua from dishing out some cash to a group of youths.

The UDA brigade in Nandi Hills slammed Alfred Keter who is vying to retain his seat in an independent ticket.
Led by Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen,he urged Nandi Hills constituents to reject Alfred Keter and instead support the UDA Party candidate.
"Huyu Alfred Keter amekuwa akitusi naibu wa Rais. Tunawaomba mtume huyu jamaa nyumbani. Kila mtu anajua Alfred hatoki Nandi Hills anatoka kwingine. Alfred na wengine ndio walifanya Aror and Kimwarer dam isimamishwe," said Murkomen
The lawmaker also thanked Nandi County residents for electing wise and sharp leaders in the recently conducted UDA Party nominations.
"Asanteni kwa kutupea mama County amabaye atawakilisha watu wa Nandi sawa sawa. Huyu Muge(Nandi County UDA Woman Representative aspirant) alistua Jeff Koinange. Jeff alinipigia simu siku Cynthia alienda interview akasema ni moto wa kuotea mbali."
