The pandemic is now becoming unpredictable as the results being produced by the ministry of health after every twenty four hours are not constant. There has been a slight deviation between the positivity rates but the concerned ministry is making efforts to produce the best outcomes.
As reported by the ministry of health on 13th April, 2021, a sample size of 6, 417 was tested over the past twenty four hours after which 991 of them became positive. The data was relative to a positivity rate of 15.4%. This implies that the rates of transmission have decreased from 16.3% that was recorded on 12th April, 2021.
Kenyans have requested for the president's intervention as their day to day life is becoming unbearable. People who lost their jobs since the imposition of various restrictions by the president are now finding it difficult to cope up with life especially in obtaining basic needs. Many have suggested that the president should reopen the locked counties so that they can resume their income generating activities. However, following the measures recommended by the health ministry is mandatory as we look forward to alleviate the pandemic from the country.
