Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi needs no introduction, the name bearer is among those pulling their bootstraps to ensure that whoever takes the power baton from Uhuru Kenyatta does not have Raila Amollo Odinga for names.
To actualize his anti-Raila scheme, MaDvd is staking on William Ruto who has hitherto proved to be a worth antidote to Jakom. As Swahili wisemen quipped, mkono mtupu hulambwi and for him to get a share of Ruto's government (assuming the self-styled chief hustler will win 2022 race) he must ensure that Samoei gets over 69% of Western Kenya votes.
Will Mudavadi meet the requirements? Oh well, Central Organization for Trade Unions (COTU) secretary-general laughed him off citing that the former is incapable of delivering the said amount of votes come August.
According to Francis Atwoli, Musalia is has shot self on the foot by assenting to Ruto's persuasion. The former advised ANC leader to weigh his capabilities before signing to what he is incapable of achieving.
Will Mudavadi pull a shocker card and prove Atwoli wrong? Oh well, not exactly, according to the latest poll finding, Raila Odinga is leading in Western Kenya with 49% and from this rating, it is obvious that MaDvd's 70% target is 'impossible' unless a miracle happens but since politics ain't about miracles, chances are; he will fail to register an impressive score in delivering Western Kenya votes to Ruto's political basket.
