It's less than a week after the election of former Bungoma senator as the National Assembly Speaker and things seem to be turning brighter for him.
Today the Bungoma kingpin hosted a high profile visitor in his office at parliament buildings.
Wetangula held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba, Mrs Ines Maria Chapman Waugh. The details of their discussion are yet to be put out.

Moses Masika Wetangula defeated Kenneth Marende who was being fronted by Azimio La Umoja-One to clinch the lucrative position last week.
Wetangula was nominated by President Ruto's side Kenya Kwanza following the pre-election agreement they signed with the Deputy president.
In the agreement, Wetangula was to go for the NA speaker post, former Kilifi county governor Amason Kingi to go for the senate post then Musalia Mudavadi to take on the Prime Cabinet Secretary among other shared positions in Kenya Kwanza government.
