Mathira member of parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua has sparked a mixed reactions online after warning Raila Odinga over trusting the Mt Kenya tycoons that he met and promised to support him. Speaking in an interview with Citizen TV Rigathi said that the billionaires will support him in terms of money but in terms of votes they won't deliver.
He added that the billionaires lacks close contact with people within the mountain hence have very little contribution on the residence of the area. Gachagua went ahead to claim that their main intention is to protect their wealth and safeguard their wealth.
He alleged that the tycoons that have right to protect their wealth but should not claim that they are representing the interests of the region. He also warned Raila Odinga that these people are likely to cause more problems to his candidature than success. He said that they don't even votes in most cases.
