The first lady Rachael Ruto, UDA governors, lawmakers, and other dignitaries accompanied President William Ruto as he attended Christmas prayers in Eldoret on December 25.
Speaking on citizen TV Kenya, President William Ruto praised the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition's leaders, including Raila Odinga, Martha Karua, Kalonzo Musyoka, for the excellent work they are doing to keep the Kenya Kwanza government in check.
Ruto also criticized the decision of former president Uhuru Kenyatta to reunite with former prime minister Raila Odinga, claiming that their handshake government interrupted everything and that its effects are now becoming apparent.
The UDA principal also asked Raila Odinga's political team to continue their supervision responsibilities, claiming that his administration will continue providing services to Kenyans.
Just a day earlier, Raila Odinga, the head of Azimio la Umoja, had criticized him and pledged to reveal his next political move in 2019.
