According to Hamisi Massa, the media is out to ensure there was a clash between him and the deputy president of Kenya Rigathi Gachagua. He affirmed that his office will conduct investigations professionally and handover files to DCI for investigations.
According to Massa, the notion that he attacked Rigathi Gachagua was overly misplaced. His position is that the office of DCI will conduct professional and independent investigation without being provoked or taking direction from anybody.
There were reports that the DCI Hamisi Massa had attacked Rigathi Gachagua. However, it has emerged that such a position was misplaced and he was only misquoted by the media without his express Authority. It's a fact that today, anybody who happens to cross Gachagua's position in government is essentially met by the full wrath of Government.
