MP Abdul Kore Appointed Forgotten Wata Community Living In Elwak As Watchmen To His CDF Office.

Today Mandera South Member of Parliament has today called upon Wata Community residing in Elwak and had a lengthy discussion with them and thanks giving meeting with the Marginalized living in Mandera south. They accused the area MP that they had never enjoyed the fruits of the county Government since devolution started.

They had come to express their gratitude for the opportunity they got in the constituency office after the Area MP Abdul Haro Kore employed one of the youth from that community as Watchman to his Constituency Development Funds office in Elwak.

The said community said their childrens were not educated and never benefited from the county Government, Member of Parliament and even MCA.

They were the minority clan and have long faced unfair when it comes to sharing of relief foods, cash transfer and exclusion, including dispossession of right to any employment opportunity and bursary for their children.

A journey of one mile begins with one step and we have considered them for the first time in the history of Mandera South as part of constituency staff, where the area MP offered one of the youth from the said community as Watchman attached to the Constituency Development Funds office in Elwak.
