Deputy President William Ruto on 20th of January 2022 took his bottom up as well as his August general election campaigns to Ukambani region as he seeks to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
William Ruto made several stopovers in the region where huge crowds of people were seen gathered to listened to his agenda.
One of the major promise he made in the region that will specifically help the Ukambani people is to built the road from Kagundo to Mwala once he occupy the top seat.
Even as he was traversing the Ukambani region, Ruto made several stopovers in key places pulling large crowds of people.
Some of the key places he made stopovers include Ol Donyo Sabuk, Tala, Kagundo, Kivani, Kakuyuni, Kathiani, Mitaboni, and Joska
