Kiambu gubernatorial contender James Nyoro has stated that the IEBC results will be challenged.
In an address to the media, Nyoro asked Kenyans to be calm as they prepare to file grievances following the counting of votes.
George Mara (Senatorial candidate), David Gakuyo (Thika Town), Owen Ndungu (Kikuyu), Damaris Wambui (Kiambaa), and his deputy June Waweru joined him.
Jubilee senate candidate George Mara stated that they will exhaust all possible possibilities.
"We are not yet accepting the results or congratulating our opponents," he remarked.
Thika parliamentary aspirant Gakuyo stated that the entire process was a farce and that they would file a petition.
"There is nothing like the UDA wave in Mount Kenya as the procedure is hampered by anomalies," he explained.
Damaris Waiganjo, a Kiambaa Jubilee candidate, stated that her agents were not let in and that she had to intercede.
"We know what happened, and the IEBC should conduct a vote recount," she added.
