The name of the Kimilili Legislature has emerged to be one of the names that should not vie for any elective seats in Kenya for lacking integrity as Barasa makes a response to it.
It is not only Didmus Barasa who has been mentioned on integrity issues, some that have been mentioned include Ali Korane, Cleophas Malala, Daniel Munduku, Evans Kidero and Fahim Twaha.

In response to it, Didmus Barasa stated that his case about slapping Steve Kay some months ago collapsed in a Milimani Law Court.
He further chided at the organisation blacklisting him not to vie for any political seat by calling them a certain NGO.
"People should relax. A certain NGO wishes that I should not participate in the coming ELECTIONS for slapping Steve Kay. The case collapsed in a KIMILILI LAW COURT long ago," Didmus Barasa said.
