Senator Sakaja's Message to Nairobi County MCAs After BBI Bill Vote

Nairobi County Assembly on Thursday, 18th February 2021, held a debate on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Constitutional (amendment) bill, 2020.

After a debate, a vite was conducted on the BBI bill that saw Nairobi County Assembly unanimously pass the BBI constitutional amendment bill, becoming the 10th county to do so.
According to the vote by the Nairobi County MCAs, all the 114 MCAs present voted Yes for the BBI bill.

After unanimously voting in favour of the BBI bill, Nairobi County Senator has sent a congratulatory message to the MCAs, hailing them for their choices.
"There is no one who knows the beauty of unity and the pain of disunity than a Nairobian, thank you my MCAs for passing the BBI Bill," Senator Johnson Sakaja said.
The Nairobi County Assembly MCAs also stoodout after observing a moment of silence for former BBI task force chair, late Garissa Senator Yusuf Haji who passed on Monday 16th at Nairobi Hospital.
