The 2022 General Elections are just around the corner with several candidates expressing interest in elective positions across the country. The race is likely to be determined on the grounds of deep pockets and party popularity.
The August election is expected to be a two-horse race between the Kenya Kwanza alliance against the Azimio la Umoja Coalition Party led by Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
A governor hopeful from the Mt Kenya region is a man in trouble after his initial pride ends him in a deep trench. According to reports, the man wanted to vie for an MP seat in Nairobi but changed his mind after learning of a Governor opportunity in his home county.
He was approached to drop his bid but turned down the offer citing he needed more money before he could drop his bid in favor of the party candidate.
The man recently appointed his long-term girlfriend as his running mate. He is now using the lady to convince his bosses to offer him the initial amount after he learns that he does not have enough money to run a gubernatorial race.
According to a report by a Local Daily, the Politician is on his knees begging the party leader to return the offer to the table.
