They undressed me before of my children - Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua

The deputy president of the republic of Kenya faced challenges during last elections. His crimes started when he openly decided and declared to support the then deputy president William Ruto who was not in good relationship with his boss Uhuru Kenyatta.

Rigathi's more than 200 million shillings were frozen in the bank and he faced corruption charges opened in court against him. While speaking in a prayer meeting in Uasin Gishu, the deputy president said that he forgave all those who mistreated him.

He said that the former president sent police officers to arrest him at his home. Rigathi said they stripped him naked infront of his children, a very shameful act. He encouraged all public servants that when given chance to serve people, they should do so in a humane way but not harassing and mistreating people.

Gachagua thanked all the people of Uasin Gishu for voting for Kenya Kwanza and giving them a chance to serve.
