The race for supremacy in the Mt Kenya region between Deputy President William Ruto and Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga is still on as they are trying to convince the region's vocal leaders to support their Presidential bids.
Murang’a County Senator Irungu Kangata has always rallied and campaigned for William Ruto throughout the Mt Kenya region as he also seeks to get more recruits to the UDA party.
Early today, Irungu Kangata has left Kenyans stunned as he revealed that one of President Uhuru Kenyatta's supporters is considering to join the United Democratic Alliance party led by William Ruto.
Taking to his social media channel, Irungu Kangata wrote: "Met with Kanini Kega at the Royal Media. He is considering joining hustler nation. Welcome."
This might be one of the jokes from the legislatures as it will be very difficult to convince Kanini Kega to abandon the President and join DP Ruto.
