Former Muranga women rep Sabina Chege has sent a message to Kenyans and the Raila Odinga family. The Azimio politician spoke moments after IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati declared Dr. William Ruto as Kenya’s 5th President at Bomas of Kenya.
Sabina who sacrificed her political ambitions so as to concentrate on Raila Odinga’s politics and also focus on National politics said that as Azimio, they were hurting due to the announcement made by IEBC.
Sabina further said that she was praying for Kenya as a nation for peace especially after the announcement. She further said that her prayers are with the Odinga family and other supporters in various parts of the country.
She asked God to heal their hearts and help them move on to the next stage.
Azimio camp had earlier on said that they will not be accepting the results by IEBC citing gross rigging. However, Chebukati went ahead and announced DP Ruto as Kenya’s 5th President.
