Nairobi's Senator Johnson Sakaja has claimed that he was allegedly offered 1 billion shillings to drop out of the Nairobi gubernatorial race.
Hon. Sakaja disclosed this during a radio interview with Massawe Japani of Radio Jambo.

However, he didn't give out the name of the person who had offered him the money.
This comes after a petition was filed by a voter seeking to bar him out of the race because he had a fake degree from Team University.
Following a series of court sessions, Sakaja was cleared by both the court and IEBC allowing him to vie Nairobi's governor's position.
He blamed the state for allegedly planning ways to get out of the gubernatorial race.
Even though he will be on the ballot his miseries aren't over as the Ugandan authorities are investigating the manners in which he acquired his degree from Team University.
