Ruto's close ally recently made some wrong interpretation of court orders regarding the ruling that was made against the Wajir governor Mohamed Abdi Mohamud. In his remarks, Dennis Itumbi claimed that the three bench judges have given direction that the orders of 8th May, 2021 should remain in force. He added that technically it means that ambassador Mohammed Abdi Mohamud is still the Governor of wajir county.
Moments after his remarks, Wehliye spoke firm and stated that this is wrong interpretation of the law. He added that it just means that the orders which were made after the current governor was sworn in and which no one was served with remain in force.
Lawyer Ahmednasir reacted and said that he should stop the disinformation. In his remarks he claimed that, "Mzee, stop THE disinformation. You know my office is open 24 hours for pro bond service to you. Amb Abdi was IMPEACHED by a resolution of the Senate. He is gone...history. I know you run a credible intelligence service..dont damage your brand/ reputation."
