Both Hon Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto who are expected to be the top contenders for the presidential race have many supporters in Narok County. Political analysts are of the view that the area will be a battleground in the sense that the votes here will largely influence the outcome of the race.
Incumbent Senator Hon Ledama Ole Kina with fly the ODM flag in the senatorial race. He is the sole candidate of the Azimio La Umoja Movement coalition. Kenya Kwanza Alliance will field Governor Samuel Ole Tunai who is currently serving his last term in office.
A fake document has been making rounds on social media. The document purported to be from IEBC has the names of Narok politicians who will be contesting for various seats. Ledama's name is notably missing. He has been forced to clear the air on the matter. Ledama has made it clear to his supporters that he will be on the ballot.
