Yesterday was the day when the political tension in the country was heightened as Azimio presidential candidate Raila Amollo Odinga picked Martha Karua as his Running mate in the forthcoming presidential elections.
Contrary to people's expectations, Raila Odinga dropped people's favorite and WIPER party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka in favor of her. The consequences of Raila's choice has aroused a lot of discussions in the social media platforms as people have different opinions concerning the subject at hand.
In his twitter account, Kericho County Senetor Aaron Cheruiyot has been pissed off by the idea that Martha Karua will bring in all the votes of the women in the country into Azimio's Ballot box since she is a fellow woman.
"Kwani where had Kenyan women migrated to in 2013? Kuzimia are now telling us Martha will deliver the mirage called women vote to their side. Surely, if she couldn't do it as the main name on the ballot, how will she fair now as running mate? Manage your hysteria please", Said Aaron Cheruiyot.
Earlier on, he had commented about Azimio's move of picking Martha Karua as unwitty and poor strategy.
