Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has finally spoken of why he fired William Ruto when they used to work together back in the days. Raila revealed this while he was touring the county of Nairobi on Sunday 28. Raila blamed Ruto of his greed for public resources.
Raila said Ruto had no boundaries back then as he could pick on any jar which did not please Raila.
"Those that I gave a job and they stole. We chased them away and now they are thumbing their chests," Raila said.
Raila added that Ruto did not stop his bad habit even after being chosen as the deputy president which led to his end with President Kenyatta. Raila hired Ruto in 2011 when he was the Prime Minister of Kenya. Ruto was in charge of the Higher Education docket and was fired with other two ministers. Investigations found them guilty and were suspended from office.
