Barely hours after media reports and claims on social media indicated that the Late and third President of Kenya Mwai Kibaki died of a cancerous tumor after a 10-year battle, fresh reports hitting news airwaves from a section of Family members now say that the latter succumbed to some form of Blood pressure, adverse effects of the 2002 accidents and not the other way round.
According to an exclusive report by The Nation media group, it has now emerged that cancer tumor reports were unfounded and fake news aimed at poisoning and misleading Kenyans during this trying moment when they have lost a hero.Photo of Mwai Kibaki Recuperating in Nairobi Hospital
In other reports, a sharp division has rocked some high-ranking allies in the Government over where President Mwai Kibaki should be laid to rest. While others are of the option of buying the veteran President in Nairobi, others have insisted that he must be buried in Nyeri.
