"Supported handshake BBI until it turned into a deception, a fraud. We are trolled, insulted for our stand. Nobody owns our views! Doesn't matter, can't count. Kudos MCAs who boldly opposed BBI in assemblies. DON'T TRY TO EXTEND TERM! WE WON'T ALLOW! DON'T!" Picture for illustrative purpose.
This is according to vocal former Member of Parliament Kabando wa Kabando as he posted it on his tweeter hurdle. He boldly tried to explain why he no longer supports the handshake and the BBI, and urged the President not to extend his term in office.Picture for illustrative purpose.
His bold tweet attracted lots of reactions where different Kenyans gave different views and opinions as captured below.Picture for illustrative purpose.
*You start a rumour and push discussions around it for relevance. The constitution does not allow extension of the Presidential term in circumstances akin to BBI. Let's get real.
*What happened with MCAs? Does it mean we entrusted County Assemblies with half baked men and women academically? Why didn't they scrutinize the Bill closely to discover the anomalies? We long for the days of Kabando wa Kabando and others.
*I told you at the very turn. Since then, my support on your views has been unqualified. We need a genuine debate in this country.
