Elgeyo Marakwet County Senator Hon Kipchumba Murkomen has finally broken his silence after President Uhuru Kenyatta hosted a section of leaders from Western Kenya today at State House.
The meeting which came immediately after Musalia Mudavadi's ANC party joined hands with Deputy President William Ruto's UDA party raised eyebrows with State House noting that the meeting was aimed at ensuring that the ongoing development programs in the region are completed on time.
However, Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who is a strong ally to the Deputy President has taken a wipe at the meeting comparing it with the late President Moi meetings in the run-up to the 2002 general elections.
"I remember President Moi (RIP) holding such “development” meetings in State house in 2002 when he realized that HE George Saitoti (RIP) HE Moody Awori and HE Kijana Wamalwa together with other opposition luminaries had joined hands to defeat his PROJECT." He tweeted.
