The Mp was arrested on Friday at his home Nyeri in county and driven to Kiambu DCI headquarters on the same day.
The Deputy President of Kenya said that Gachagua was arrested for just being his close ally and played a big part in Kiambaa elections.
He urged his ally to remain strong as the almighty God will vindicate him in fullness Of time.
He went ahead and revealed they knew of this politically instigated arrests and charges were coming.
