True Leader, Muturi Tables Another Tough Demand To Uhuru On Behalf Of Kenyans

The Speaker of the National Assembly Honorable Justin Muturi has tabled a tough demand to the incumbent Head of State His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta on behalf of the people of Kenya.

Taking to his Twitter page this Thursday morning, the lawmaker claimed that it is about time the government allows Kenyans to participate freely in worship. He claimed that the restrictions should be lifted because the country needs prayers more than anything.

According to Muturi, the churches and mosques should be allowed to function at full capacity. He stated that it is currently not fair for believers to be left behind especially after the government lifted restrictions on other sectors like bars, restaurants, transport, and other businesses.

He further affirmed that it is not making any sense when the government allows local politicians to pull out big crowds but then restrict people who are innocently seeking to communicate with their creator.

" As the weekend approaches when the Friday services for Muslims and the Saturday and Sunday services for Christians will take place, I am once again appealing to the government to lift the restrictions. Having opened up businesses, restaurants and bars, Matatus and other public transporters operating at full capacity, political functions continuing unabated with huge public rallies devoid of any restriction, it is only logical to allow religious worship to resume at full capacity, " Muturi wrote.

Muturi lastly asserted that he was among politicians who pressurized the Head of State to lift the curfew and that he will also make sure that Uhuru abides by his current call. He claimed that he is doing that because it is not wise to forget what God can do to a country that is in a poor state like Kenya.

Muturi is currently aspiring to clinch the topmost political seat in the much- awaited next year' s presidential election. Below is him speaking during a previous political function n the country.
