Politically,coastal region for the past years has been the Orange Democratic Movement bedroom.Most of the political leaders have been getting their endorsement from the ODM party.Recently,most of politicians have been joining Tangatanga camp from the ODM party.The coastal residents have shown their move after the latest meeting of DP Ruto which was attended by crowd of people.DP Ruto has been in coastal for the last two days.He has been empowering the youths and less fortunes in the region.
Today,Aisha Jumwah who is a Tangatanga ally has revealed this on his tweeter account.She said "Later in the day, I was honored to join the deputy president William Ruto at an empowerment event of Boda Boda, youth & women in Watamu. We will keep on investing in our youth & women who are the formidable engines in the growth of our economy & deserve our support & recognition."Aisha Jumwah has promised the residents that he will continue empowering them so as to eliminate poverty.
