DP Ruto Receives Major Boost as Kiambu MP 'Abandons' Kuria, Warms up For UDA Ahead of 2022

Uzalendo News on Twitter: "George Koimburi declared winner in hotly contested Juja By-Elections | #JujaByelections… "

Deputy President William Ruto's presidential bid seems to have received another major boost ahead of 2022 after one of the MPs from Kiambu county expressed clear indications of joining the UDA party ahead of 2022.

This is after the recently elected People's Empowerment Party (PEP) party MP George Ndungu Koimburi welcomed DP William Ruto to be the guest of honour in his homecoming party and prayer day slated for 29th October 2021 at AIPCA Matangani Kiambu county.

It is not yet clear on whether the MP has invited his former boss Moses Kuria to the party or not. This has since elicited reactions from various quarters, with those allied to ODM party boss Raila Odinga accusing Koimburi of abandoning Kuria, who helped him win the seat and embracing Ruto.

It was expected that Koimburi will reciprocate by joining Kuria's Chama Cha Kazi ahead of 2022. The MP while running for Juja constituency, received major support from DP Ruto and Hustler Nation community as a large
