Deputy President Dr William Ruto has been meeting people from from Friday. He started with Western Region where he took his politics of 'Hustler Nation' to the people of Kakamega County. His allies have been spreading the gospel of 'Bottom Up' Economic model and this has really resonated well with the people.
Today, the second in command finished his two-day tour of the Lower Eastern region where he discussed the economic model with the leaders of the region. He was in the company of former Machakos Senator Dr Johnstone Muthama, Turkana Governor Nanok, Kajiado South MP Metito among other grass root leaders.
After the meeting, Dr Ruto passed by Kimana Trading centre where thousands of people were waiting to greet him. They were mainly the small-scale traders who were trying to get their daily bread through selling their products.
The Deputy President told them that he was keen on formulating an economic blueprint that infuses in the architecture of the country’s economics pro-poor policies that will contribute towards the building of an inclusive nation, devoid of ethnicity, hate and elite domination in the politics of the country.
