David Ndii,top economic advisor for Kenya Kwanza Presidential Candidate has put it clear he does not condone corruption and he does not associate with people who practice that vice.
He gave a scenario when he stopped his wife from taking bribe. The economist told his wife wife accepting bribe was grounds for divorce.
"Many years ago when I was working for United Nations my wife was offered 'assistance' to purchase a vehicle if she will buy a certain make ( she was procuring 40 4WDS for her organization ). I promised her if she will take the bribe, then was grounds of corruption. I do not preach what I practice '" he said.
Mr. Ndii has been accused for associating with corrupt leaders. he has denied the accusations, he has defended his boss Dr. William Ruto after several accusation that he I the corrupt leader.His wife Mwende Gatabaki is vying for Kiambu Governor's office under Safina Party.
