Ruben Kigame, a rejected presidential aspirant has shocked many after taking it to the press on Friday where he urged his supporters to include his name in the presidential list as the 5th option. He alleged that all Kenyans should show up on the 9th of August to vote and practice their democratic rights.

"When it comes to the presidential vote, we encourage you to practice your democratic right fully by voting for us in this way. Take your pen and write Ruben Kigame on the presidential ballot as the fifth option." He was noted saying by The Star.

He alleged that the move is to make the IEBC understand that Kenyans are free to vote for any member they want. Ruben promised to make a move to court after the Tuesday, August 9th poll because to him the electoral body was biased.PHOTO: COURTESY

Due to directives from the IEBC on ways to vote, this act can lead to a spoiled vote. Do you think it's a nice move made ahead of next week's polls?
